· PERDITA (Italian): from Latin ‘per’, complete and total action, completely; and ‘dare’, to give.
· METABUK (neologism): from the Greek ‘meta’, change, beyond or later; and ‘buk’ phonetic writing of the English word ‘book’.
Perdita METABUK is an art project of publications created by artist Sandra March. Her catalog includes artists’ books, limited editions, object books, printed experiments, games and bizarre fanzines.
Perdita Metabuk’s publications are presented in different formats and can contain illustration pulp, humor extract, recycled ideas, ironic coloring, adulterated images, social protest concentrate, feminist acid, and a pair of egg yolks. They may contain traces of naivety and are rich in collaborations. Consumption recommended.
